Organize a Food Drive
Food drives are a great way to raise awareness of the issues, build community and contribute to our efforts to provide nutritious food for children, families and seniors in need. To help you get started, we've put together a variety of tools.

Delivering collected food donations to our facility at 3655 Reed Street in Winston-Salem or to a participating Goodwill Food Drive Donation Station (open 7 days a week), is an additional gift of support for our mission. If delivering your donations is not possible, we are happy to schedule a time to pick them up.

Remember to register your drive so that we can support your efforts!

Questions? Contact Joseph Kilar, our Food Drive Coordinator, at 336.784.5770 or email him.

Become a Block Captain

You don't have to wear a cape to be a hero for hunger-free communities!

They call themselves BLOCK CAPTAINS, but to us, they are HEROS FOR HUNGER-FREE COMMUNITIES. By dedicating just a couple hours each month, this awesome group of volunteers is making it easy for others to give all year long through food drives held in their neighborhoods, schools, running clubs, book clubs and all sorts of other places. Here's more information on how to get started and a sample letter to invite your neighbors and group members to help. Have a question? Contact, Debbie Clark, our Volunteer and Project Coordinator, at 336.784.5770 or Debbie Clark.
