Getting food to kids when school is out.

School is out and our Triad Community Kitchen Program has been busy cooking and packing meals for our summer meal programs throughout our 18 county service area.

More than half of children in our area qualify for free or reduced priced meals during the school year, and with schools getting out for summer vacation, that critical source of nutrition is gone for many children.
